BHARAT PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED (BPCL): BPCL is one of the forerunners in the country’s energy sector. Under both the ERTV and ERST Projects, IOM has partnered with BPCL. During the ERTV phase, BPCL provided space at a very nominal price for setting up Sanchay Prayas (AMUL parlours) outlets in New Delhi. In the ERST phase, BPCL came forward to train survivors of trafficking as drive-way sales women and employ them as petrol fillers in their petrol bunks. Also some survivors were recruited as customer sales executives in the In & Out outlets being run by BPCL with the premises of their petrol bunks.

CAFÉ COFFEE DAY (CCD): Café Coffee Day is a division of India's largest coffee conglomerate, Amalgamated Bean Coffee Trading Company Ltd. (ABCTCL), popularly known as Coffee Day, a Rs. 300 crore ISO 9002 certified company. It is one of India’s leading coffee exporters with clients across USA, Europe & Japan. Coffee Day has its business spanning the entire value chain of coffee consumption in India. Its different divisions include: Coffee Day Fresh n Ground (which owns 354 Coffee bean and powder retail outlets), Coffee Day Xpress (which owns 341 Coffee Day Kiosk), Coffee Day Take away (which owns 7000 Vending Machines), Coffee Day Exports and Coffee Day Perfect (FMCG Packaged Coffee) division. In Kolkata an X-press kiosk has been set up in partnership with CCD under the ERTV project, wherein the franchisee has been extended to IOM’s partner NGO at a highly subsidized rate.

CORN CLUB: Corn Club is a chain of outlets exclusively dealing in corn based food products. Corn Club has offered its franchisee options to participants under IOM’s ERST Project and was also involved in the business specific orientation and technical training of some participants. The products of Corn Club are currently being sold in a fast food outlet - Kafe Khushi being operated in Hyderabad in partnership with Ankuram.

FABCARE: Fabcare, one of the largest manufacturers of laundry machines, has been roped in for supplying machinery at highly subsidized rates for the laundry unit in Delhi which will rehabilitate 30 survivors. Fabcare has taken the responsibility of training the participants and taking them for exposure visits to various other laundry units without any extra cost.

GUJARAT COOPERATIVE MILK MARKETING FEDERATION (GCMMF): GCMMF is India's largest food products marketing organization. It is a state level apex body of milk cooperatives in Gujarat which aims to provide remunerative returns to the farmers and also serve the interest of consumers by providing quality products which are good value for money. IOM partnered with GCMMF in its pilot initiative and entered into an MOU to set up AMUL pizza parlors across the state, wherein for a very nominal deposit, GCMMF agreed to provide the outlet’s infrastructure, food supplies, technical training and expertise and marketing support to the outlet entrepreneurs. IOM has initiated these parlours in Hyderabad, Mysore, Kolkata and Delhi with the support of its partner NGOs.

INDIAN TOBACCO COMPANY (ITC): ITC is one of the foremost private sector companies in India with an annual turnover of over USD 3 billion. At the instance of IOM, ITC has come forth and funded the setting-up of 2 kiosks (fast food outlets) in Orissa. This is for the first time that a private sector has funded an anti trafficking initiative of this kind.

KANTI TEXTILES: Kanti Textiles (based in Pedana, Andhra Pradesh) has been involved from over three decades in designing and printing Kalamkari fabrics. The uniqueness of this art form is that it uses only natural dyes in the entire dyeing and printing process. Alongside local markets, Kanti Textiles supplies to markets in Bombay, Delhi, Kolkata and is also involved in exporting these printed fabrics. The export potential of Kalamkari has been on the rise with many environment conscious consumers preferring natural dyes. IOM partnered with Kanti Textiles in setting up a Kalamkari unit in Vemavaram engaging 30 survivors of trafficking. The trainer cum production supervisor was deputed by Kanti from amongst its own employees and an arrangement has been worked out wherein Kanti Textiles provides the raw materials and takes finished goods from the unit by paying the participants piece wages on the basis of the quality and quantity of work done.


NEOMI’S BEAUTY PARLOUR: Neomi’s is a leading beauty parlour in Goa and has extended training facilities to groom some of the project’s participants as beauticians and has also absorbed them internally into its existing pay-rolls. The participants highly acclaimed the professional grooming and technical expertise that was imparted to them during their training period at the parlour and also feel that Neomi offers a very positive work environment.


RAMSON: Ramson is considered to be a pioneer in the manufacturing of Laundry and Dry Cleaning machines and has a complete range of customized machines. IOM has collaborated with Ramson for providing supplies to a laundry unit being set up in Goa and also for extending their technical expertise in setting up the unit and training the participants.

SPENCERS Retail: Spencers is a pioneer in food and grocery retailing in the country. It began its operations in Kolkata and operates four different types of outlets – Fresh, Daily, Super and Hyper. Each of these outlets houses a particular category of products and is targeted at a specific consumer segment. At the instance of IOM, in Hyderabad, Spencers has extended job opportunities as customer sales executives for the participants under the ERST Project.
